Ooh LaLa Mama Review

December 20, 2009

Frustrated with the lack of edgier designs available we desired to take a chance and create our own line of fun, comfortable, edgy and cute children’s clothing. It was important to us to find not only amazing art and designs for our clothing but also to be sure that the fabric would be soft and yummy against our babies skin.

And so was born Ooh La La Mama, inspired by desire to dress their very cool kids in very cool clothing. The idea for Ooh La La Mama, LLC was created in the end of 2006 by wife and husband team, Cindy Parker and Scott Stoughton. In February 2007 they produced their first garments and made their first sale, and has been growing ever since.

I was lucky enough to get a chance to work with Ooh La La Mama and got a super cute Winged Rock Star Pink Dress for Maddisyn and a way cool Dino Boy One Piece Diaper Shirt for Holden. Both are very well made and easy to take care of and clean wich to me is the number one buying decision for kids clothes and then the coolness/cuteness factor comes in second and Ooh La La Mama hit the nail right on the head with both of them.

The Clothes are so cute and full of design and color and best of all they dont even feel new, they are soft and feel broke in like your favourite T-Shirt, (you know the one you just can’t let go) sad part is i know some day (probably sooner than later) they will outgrown them, but on a positive note that means I can get more clothes from Ooh LaLa Mama haha.

Ooh LaLa Mama has so many designs to choose from and more than dresses and one pieces (diaper shirts), they also have Tee’s and Rombers for boys and girls. buying a gift for someone but not sure what they would like, or can’t choose which one, they even have gift Certificates available form $25 – $200.

Hesitant on purchasing kids clothes online? Not sure how they will Fit or if the colours are true to the pictures (which I assure you mine were) head here to see a list of retailers with over 70 retail locations making Ooh LaLa Mama products easily available to you.

Go to Ooh LaLa Mama and get your cool kid some cool clothes.  The dino shirt we got as a onesie and it costs $31.95.  Maddisyns rock star dress, which by the way there is a boy onesie that matches it, costs $29.95 and both are worth every penny.

This was not a paid post and honest opinions were used. Products in this review were given to me free of cost by the manufacturer or representing PR agency for review only. Opinions in this review are mine and are in NO way influenced by monetary compensation.

Olivers Labels Review

December 3, 2009

“It all began with a small idea to keep Oliver, my nephew, from losing his stuff. After seeing the overwhelming positive reaction from his teachers and other parents, I realized there was a huge demand for high quality labels. I used my 6 years of experience in the printing industry to develop a label that was both durable and beautiful. The business was born and now our full-colour designs and exclusive Found-it™ tracking system are a few of the things that set Oliver’s Labels apart from the competition.”

What a great idea, anyone that has ever had a child go camping with firends or family or having sleep overs or even in our case, 2 boys that occasionally get the same item at the same time fighting over who’s is who’s (because even though they’re identical it really does matter lol)

We recieved a package from Olivers Labels containing original labels, mini labels, shoe labels, stick-eez clothing labels and wrist bands that said no Nuts (for those with nut allergies). We dont have any allergies in our family but a close friends little boy has a peanut allergy and they thought these wrist bands were perfect for parties etc.

We immediatley tagged a few items like his hat that has to go everywhere with him a couple toys and his indoor shoes from school which incidentally happened to be worn home that day like many other occasions. Then we let him tag somed of his things that he felt required it, I’m so glad there wasnt more labels as I’m sure everything he owned and probably the family dog would have recieved a label claiming it as his own. Needless to say he thought they were great and so did we. There are tags on his pillow case and sleeping bag and a few other articles that he will be bringing on a scouts camp out this winter in January and I have all the confidence that we will not have to worry about his stuff being left behind.

Lost an item with a label on it? Found-it™ is Oliver’s Labels exclusive, FREE online lost-and-found system. They give you the option of printing a Found-it™ tracking system code on your labels. This unique code connects you to your item via your email address. You can choose to have a Found-it™ tracking code printed on your labels or tags when you are filling out the personalization information for the product you’re ordering. It’s as simple as checking a box. If you decide to participate in Found-it™ for one or more of the items in your cart, you will be asked for an email address for our Found-it™ tracking system when you check out. If you ever lose an item with a Found-it™ tracking system code, have no fear! When someone finds it they will be prompted to go to a special page on (written on the label) with instructions to enter the code on the label. Oliver’s Labels then match you to your Found-it™ tracking system code and send you a notification email right away. Oliver’s Labels acts as an intermediary between you and the finder so you never have to share any of your personal information!
