Crane Humidifier Review

November 26, 2009
Do you have Dry lips or skin? Sinus Problem or just a cough? Then a humidifier may be the perfect answer.

In most areas houses can get very dry in the winter time with the use of heating systems, we recieved the Crane Frog Cool Mist Humidifier from Childish Notions and seeing as how Holden had a cold as well as dry lips we figured what better time and place to try it out. We filled it with water put it on his dresser in his bedroom and turned it on to the appropriate setting so the mist was going straight up from it, there is one single dial on the front and you just turn it untill the mist is leaving the humidifier straight up otherwise there will be too much mist and everything around it will be wet. We noticed an imediate improvement in his coughing that night and his lips didnt appear to be dry in the morning either.

The 1 gallon water tank will allow up to 11 hours of mist before needing refilled (but we seem to be getting longer than that) and it will shut itself off when it runs empty. The water tank is transparent making it very easy to tell when you’re water is getting low.
The coolmist humidifier is Incredible quiet so it’s ideal for use in bedrooms as it wont disturb sleep but it would work in any room thats approximately 250sq.ft in size.

Crane was founded on the belief that design is an attitude and the home is a personal expression of an individual’s lifestyle.  Our products are functional, efficient and communicate an appreciation for good design.

Crane’s unique sense of design, an unwavering commitment to quality, and always remaining a step ahead of the crowd, allows us to continue to create our own distinctive interpretation of small home appliance design.

The humidifers by Crane come in all assortments of animals as I stated we got the green frog but also love the pink pig for Maddisyns room or the dragon for Chase and Blakes room.

The humidifier from Crane is recommended to provide relief from cough, cold and flu like symptoms and is a recommended non-medicated alternative to over the counter children’s cough and cold medication.
Childish Notions does all the hard work in finding products to keep your children a little safer and you a little saner. They search out products that help with this so you don’t have to, all of their products are VERY practical and have all been proven effective in use with their own children.

Childish Notions has lots of different products for, bath time such as the Daphné Bath Seat, feeding time like the Babytop booster seat or Sock Ons found in their nursery time section (i’ve never met a child that liked socks, Maddisyn WILL NOT keep hers on in the house for any reason just like her mama and Holdens just fall off for no apparent reason) but socks off appears to have solved that problem.

The Humidifiers cost $39.99 USD directly from Crane or you can visit Childish Notions for details to order one in Canada including a store locator which can be found HERE.

Thank you Childish Notions and Crane for this great product to review.
