Mommy Mitten Review

December 22, 2009

Living in a colder climate, (ok not coldER it’s downright Freezing here in the winter) i’m always looking for products to make the cold weather easier to deal with while not hindering my cat like reflexes, ok lol I am not that quick but I can dream that someday I will be.

Mommy Mitten is absolutley one of those products. I recently had the pleasure of working with them and they sent me one to review. I got it just in time for it to start snowing here. In the last 2 weeks it has been terrible here, windy, snowing freezing just nasty and I walk almost every morning with Holden and Maddisyn to a parent and family center. The Mommy Mitten has been my new favourite invention.
Mommy Mitten is a hand warmer that easily secures around the handle bar of your baby stroller with velcro which makes it very easy to put on to walk outside or take off while we are strolling in the mall.  It is also easy to transfer to a different stroller and fits a wide range of stroller such as our Walkaby, Phil & Teds and Kolcraft ones to name a few.  It is made to keep your hands protected from the elements without having to deal with clumsy, easy to lose gloves or mittens, it is water resistant, insulated and lined with Fleece, has an external zipper pocket for easy access to things like your keys, cell phone, your baby’s pacifier or whatever else you may need to store in there.

Amy Sapirstein is the creator of the Mommy Mitten and founder of Active Urban Mom, LLC.
“The concept for Mommy Mitten came about in October 2007 when I was pushing our new baby in her stroller around our neighborhood. It was just getting chilly, and I had not yet pulled my gloves and mittens from the back of my closet. That is when the idea struck.”

The Mommy Mitten is available in 2 colors, Black with pink fleece liner as well as Black with an aqua fleece liner. Say good bye to those mittens and gloves that you can never locate when you need them and no chance at dropping and losing them while you fumble in the cold trying to ensure your child is happy and warm in the stroller.

The Mommy Mitten sells for $29.99 and since i probably spend more then that on lost gloves in the wintertime I would have to say it is totally worth it.
Thank you to Mommy Mitten for this great product to review.
