Simple Human Review

December 2, 2009

We all have daily tasks we want to do faster, things that take up too much space, and projects we want to organize. Simplehuman is comitted to design products that help efficiently achieve these goals.

Simplehuman has lots of different products from Laundry hampers to kitchen organization. We recieved a sensor soap pump from Simplehuman, the pump dispenses soap touch-free to help avoid cross-contamination. all you need to do is place your hand under the sensor and soap is automatically dispensed into your hand. this is great for hte kitchen when cooking and you have stuff all over your hands and dont want to touch the pump or grab a bar of soap. It’s perfect for the bathroom too with an optional blinking LED light that blinks for 20 seconds to let you know how long to lather for germ-free hands.

Anybody that has little ones know how frustrating it can be making sure they wash their hands properly and with the blinking LED it gives them something to watch rather than jsut stare at their hands so they are more inclined to do a good job.  With a 9 year old and a 10 year old boy in the house theres no telling what kind of germs they may have been in contact with not to mention your everyday dirt, well maybe not YOUR everyday but certainly a young boys everyday dirt haha. Because they do not have to touch the soap dispensor now I can trust that their hands are being cleaned without the rest of us getting their germs.  The fact that it automatically knows when your hand is there is absolutley fascinating to them and every time they walk by it they feel the need to wash their hands which is perfect except for the amount of soap we now need to keep on hand to refill it regularly.

Simplehuman’s sensor soap dispenser has a rustproof chrome plated top cover, stainless steel backsplash and a clear acrylic soap chamber, all of which will keep it looking great for years to come. It runs on just 2 “AA” batteries so those no cords or wires near the sink. There is a handy volume dial on the back numbered 1-4 that allows you to control the amount of soap that comes out, 1-2 is recomended for most liquid soaps wheras 3-4 is recommended for thicker soaps and lotions.

The Soap dispensor we received costs $39.99 and is available in black, white and brushed nickle.  Go to Simple Human and check out all their products to make your life easier.
